The best of everything.

Live Sports Broadcasts

While at #CronkiteSJI I had the honor of interviewing Alanna Smith and Yvonne Turner of the @PhoenixMercury. Here's the full package previewing Saturday's game vs @LA_Sparks. Thanks, @Cronkite_ASU, can't wait to return for Sports Broadcast Boot Camp in a month. #Mercury pic.twitter.com/XANeWSjCby

Student Television Network

At the STN Conventions in 9th-11th grade I created these videos to compete with thousands of  students.
In 2019 I was selected by STN to run a professional session, something very few schools get the opportunity to do. I showed 50+ students and teachers how to live stream sports from a school environment.
Recaps I made of the STN convention the 2 years I attended. I couldn't show everything but it isn't all partying! I was working for 4-8 hour shifts making videos as well as attending sessions from pros.
In 2018 my team was tasked to create a Public Service Announcement about the Importance of Music Education. I scripted and edited this video. I (and the judges) thought we hit it out of the park!
In 2017 my team was assigned to make any sort of movie trailer for a movie with the title "Incognito". I came up with the idea, many of the shots, and edited.
These are the Crazy 8s contests where everyone on our team who came up the trip (around 20) work on a single (up to 8 minute) video for 8 hours. In 2017 we made a Morning Broadcast in Anaheim based on the prompt "The Non-Disney side of Anaheim" and in 2018 we created a short film based on the title "Stuck on Repeat" and a glue stick for a prompt. I edited and shot B-Roll footage in 2017 and was one of two lead editors in 2018.

Sports

In 2018-19 I was the head of live production at DPNews. Here we began live streaming Football, Basketball, and more after only doing 3 games with the software the previous year. We streamed 35 high school sports games that season, I am extremely proud of what we built.

Packages on 2019 Baseball games in the works!
Highlights of 2018 Dos Pueblos Baseball's CIF run.
This was my first jump into the world of sports broadcasting and since then I've managed over 20 High School sporting events and became head of the DPNews live stream division.
Audio from the Game, with me commentating!

A series I did on Pro Sports Playoffs which appeared on the 2017 and 2018 seasons of DPNews.

NFL Playoffs 2018-19
Super Bowl 53 Recap
Extended version with NFC/AFC recaps, Spongebob, and more! (If you can't get enough of me ;))
NFL Playoffs 2017-18
Week 1
Road to the Super Bowl
Week 2
Super Bowl Recap/Highlights
Recap of a crazy Game 2 of the 2017 World Series
Not a video, but a podcast I did about the MLB Offseason. Stay tuned for more...

News

Judah Anchors DPNews
This is called Chilly Time News, where I would attempt to cover a certain number of stories in an amount of time or have ice cold water dumped on me. Enjoy :)
Highlights/bloopers from 2016 of me as an anchor or DPNews.
I'm not entirely sure why I made this for DPNews, but I still watch it from time to time...
We are Dp 2018
I had the amazing opportunity to interview Academy Award winning actor Gary Oldman at the 2018 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Each year in DPNews I created student profiles on someone from Dos Pueblos High School for the "We Are DP" series. You can see ones created by other students clicking on the buttons below.

Business

In December of 2018, Noozhawk held a public newsroom exploring downtown Santa Barbara’s challenges and possibilities for their Reimagine: Santa Barbara series. DPNews was recruited to film and edit these segments together, and I took the opportunity to plan for a crew to film the event, where I supervised. Later I edited the whole project together, the segments you can view below.
I edited this for a chiropractor in Santa Barbara, trimming down a 25 minute video to the essentials, adding informative text, and cleaning up audio.

Personal

Montages I created for a family friends' Bat Mitzvahs a few years back.

Other

A comedic Public Service Announcement I created for DPNews regarding students cleaning up their trash after Nutrition ends.
An action short I made with a friend for my science project in 8th grade. It analyzed if camera angles could influence a viewers perception on a story. The video is a little cheesy but I hope you like it.
A birthday present to my dad about an invention he made. You honestly just have to watch it...
An homage to one of my favorite Lonely Island videos, "We Like Sportz", to hype up a MORP dance @ school
Our 2017 entry in the WaterwiseSB High School video contest won us an honorable mention!
In 9th Grade English class we were assigned to create a project on one of the themes present in the book Catcher in the Rye. I chose the theme of the pressures of adolescence and made this short film.
You're still here? Here's a fan made trailer I made for a Marvel show called the Defenders. I'm running low on content, wasn't sure anyone would scroll this far.
