Far and away my favorite sport, I am a St. Louis Cardinals fan by blood, baseball was a huge part of what made me a sports journalist. My dad likes to credit Game 6 of the 2011 World Series and a subsequent trip to St. Louis where I was able to make the call, instead of Joe Buck, at the Cardinal museum. My dad tried to walk out my grandma's door before Freese's triple, but I convinced him to stay... the rest is history.

Dear @CIFSS,
I think you started the baseball season too early.
Daylight savings isn’t till Sunday.
If this forces a Channel League tie, someone should be fired.
Love
